The Bill (Reg. No. 5040) submitted by the President of Ukraine supplements the effective Law with the regulations that determine the legal status of persons who fell victims of repressions, and sets the guarantees of their social security. The Bill also extends the range of privileges envisaged by the effective Law onto the rehabilitated citizens persons recognized as victims of political repressions.
The Committee members uphold the legislative initiative of the Head of State, as it restores equity and civil rights of persons who fell victims to the political repressions in childhood.
